BJU Geometry For thousands of years, humanity studied Geometry for two purposes: an understanding of space and the ability to think clearly. We retain both of those purposes in this class. Dealing mostly with Euclidean Geometry, the fourth year math class at Equip utilizes the BJU program to construct a solid foundation in Geometry, understand the formal Geometric proof, and introduce Trigonometry; to develop thinking and reasoning skills; to develop problem-solving skills; to promote an interest in and enjoyment of mathematics; to glorify God for His created order in mathematics.

Uncle Tom's Cabin This course surveys some of the great literature that has impacted society and raises the questions of who we are as a people and why we are here. The in-class portion of an Equip literature class consists mostly of discussion. As Christians interested in the world around us, the consideration of big ideas through vigorous discussion should constitute a regular feature of our lives. Therefore, this class will assist the student in making this activity a regular part of life.
